Active connections

Admins only: This tab is for site administrators.

The Connections tab lists the live browser sessions connected to the server you’re on. Each open Kenseme tab counts as one connection.

In the app: Settings › System Administration › Connections tab

What it shows¶

The header reads Active Connections with a count.

Column	Meaning
Circuit ID	The session’s identifier, shortened.
User	Who is signed in.
User ID	Their identity-provider user id.
IP Address	Where the connection comes from.
Connected	How long ago the session started.

Click Refresh to reload. The list shows “No active connections” when nobody is connected.

Note: The list covers this server instance only. When Kenseme runs on more than one server, each one reports its own connections, so you may need to check more than once to see everyone.

When to use it¶

• Check who is working before a maintenance window or deployment.
• Confirm that a user reporting a problem is actually connected.
• Get a rough sense of load.

The tab doesn’t disconnect anyone and keeps no history.
