Verify your email address
If you created your Kenseme account with an email address and a password, you must confirm that the address is yours before you can get in. Until you do, signing in stops at a Verify your email address page.
In the app: shown automatically after you sign up or sign in with an unverified email and password account
Who needs to verify¶
- Email and password accounts must verify their address once.
- Microsoft accounts don’t. Microsoft has already confirmed the address, so you go straight in.
Verification comes before everything else. If you were invited to an organization, the invitation waits until you have verified and signed in again.
Verify your address¶
- Find the verification email in your inbox. The Verify page shows which address it went to, partly hidden, for example
j***y@example.com. - Click the link in the email.
- Go back to Kenseme and sign in again. Click
Back to sign inon the Verify page, or open your Kenseme address.
This time you go straight into the app.
If the email doesn’t arrive¶
- Check your spam or junk folder. The message comes from Kenseme.
- On the Verify page, click
Resend verification email. The page confirms: “If that address needs verifying, we’ve sent a new link. It can take a minute to arrive.” - Open the newest email and click its link.
Note: The
Resend verification emailbutton appears only when Kenseme is set up to resend verification emails. If you don’t see it, or the Verify page has been open for more than a few minutes, clickBack to sign inand sign in again to get a fresh page.
The confirmation message is the same whether or not an email was sent. That’s deliberate: the page never reveals whether an address has an account.
If it still doesn’t work¶
- Make sure you’re signing in with the same email address you signed up with.
- Ask your organization admin or Kenseme support to confirm the address on your account.
