Edit your account profile
Your profile holds your name, company and time zone. The time zone matters most: every date and time in Kenseme is shown to you in it.
In the app: your email address at the top right of the header › Account
Edit your profile¶
- Click your email address at the top right of the header.
- Choose

- Click

A message confirms “Account settings saved successfully.”
The fields¶
| Field | What it’s for | Rules |
|---|---|---|
| First Name | How you appear to others in your organizations. | Required. Up to 50 characters. |
| Last Name | As above. | Required. Up to 50 characters. |
| Company | Where you work. | Optional. Up to 150 characters. |
| The address you sign in with. | Can’t be changed here. | |
| Time Zone | How dates and times are shown to you. | Required. |
Choose your time zone¶
The Time Zone list is grouped by region: North America, Europe, Asia & Middle East, Australia & Pacific, South America, Africa, and UTC. Each entry shows a city or zone name and its offset from UTC, for example Eastern Time (EST) UTC-05:00. Type in the list to filter it.
Kenseme stores every timestamp in UTC and converts it to your time zone for display. Changing your time zone doesn’t change any data, only how times look to you. Short trips don’t need a change.
Note: If you’ve never set a time zone, Kenseme uses Pacific Time.
What your profile doesn’t control¶
- Your email address, password and multi-factor settings. These belong to your sign-in account. Reset your password from the sign-in page. Microsoft accounts are managed by Microsoft.
- Your role. Each organization’s admin sets it. See Roles in Kenseme.
- The light or dark theme. Use the toggle in the header. See Tour of the app.
