Plans and pricing
Your organization’s plan decides three things: how many people can join (seats), how much AI work you can do each month (your AI usage allowance), and which premium features are switched on for everyone in the organization.
In the app: Settings › Billing & Plan › Choose a plan or Change plan
Beta: Plans and billing are in beta. Prices can change. The plan chooser in the app always shows the current price before you pay.
The plans¶

Every plan includes core schema design, import, and DDL generation for all eight SQL dialects.
- Team is the core toolset. It doesn’t include database binding, the Data Agent or the star schema designer.

Seats¶
A seat is one active member of the organization. A pending invitation also uses a seat until it’s accepted or revoked.
On Team and Business you can buy extra seats, at $79 per seat per month, up to the plan’s maximum. Add them when you subscribe, or later from Billing & Plan with Add seats. When you reach your limit, inviting or adding someone is refused with “Seat limit reached (N of N). Upgrade your plan or add seats.”
AI usage¶
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI work. It covers description generation, the ontology generator, relationship suggestions, the Data Agent and the other AI features. The allowance is shown relative to Team, which is standard. More capable AI models use more of the allowance for the same request. When you run low, you can buy a usage pack or upgrade. How plans switch features on¶
Some capabilities are controlled by feature flags. A feature that’s part of your plan is on for everyone in the organization, and it can’t be switched off while you’re on that plan. A feature that isn’t in your plan stays off unless a Kenseme administrator turns it on for you. That’s why the same feature list can look different in two organizations.
On Home, a tile for a feature your organization doesn’t have shows a lock and “… isn’t enabled for this organization.”
Organizations without a plan¶
Organizations created before plans existed may have no plan at all. Everything keeps working for them without limits. Billing & Plan reads “This organization is not on a billing plan.” and offers Choose a plan.
